Highcliffe Christmas 2026

Highcliffe Castle has dated the Christmas Tree Festival: Saturday 28 November to Wednesday 23 December. It is ticketed. Local groups and businesses dress trees inside the Grade I house.

Evening openings ran on selected Fridays and Saturdays last year, with music in the rooms after dark. 2026 evening dates have not been published on the castle site this week. Day visits follow the castle’s winter hours once tickets go on sale.

The Highcliffe precinct and Walkford lights are a separate night, usually a Saturday in late November. In 2025 that was 29 November. No 2026 Saturday has been posted by the parish or the traders.

Until that switch-on is advertised, the castle festival is the date that can go in a diary. This page will add the precinct night when it appears.
